How HOPB collects, uses, and shares your information when you visit or use hopb.co.

Updated July 24th, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or use our website hopb.co (the "Site"). By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to all personal information we collect or process about you. "Personal information" means information, or a combination of pieces of information, that could reasonably allow you to be identified.

Section 1

Information we collect

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies are data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous identifier. For more information about cookies and how to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
  • Log files track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
  • Analytics and advertising services. We use Squarespace (our website host) and Google — including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google AdSense — to understand how visitors use the Site and to display ads. See "Cookies & advertising" below.
Information you provide to us

We also collect the information you choose to provide to us directly — for example, when you submit our feedback or contact form, or sign up for our email newsletter. This may include your name, email address, and the content of your message. We do not currently sell products or process payments through the Site, so we do not collect billing, shipping, or credit card information.

When we refer to "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we mean Device Information together with any information you provide to us directly.

Section 2

How we use information

We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide the Site and respond to your requests, questions, and comments;
  • Send you our email newsletter and other communications you have signed up to receive;
  • Display and measure advertising on the Site;
  • Understand and analyze how visitors find and use the Site, and maintain, improve, and develop the Site;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and other harmful or illegal activity; and
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements and enforce our terms.
Section 3

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. Our agents, vendors, and service providers — such as our website host and our analytics and advertising providers — may have access to information collected through the Site to perform work on our behalf, and are restricted from using it for purposes other than providing that assistance. We may also share information:

  • With our service providers and affiliates for the purposes described in this policy;
  • With advertising and analytics partners (such as Google) to display and measure ads — see "Cookies & advertising" below;
  • If we are required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process (such as a court order or subpoena);
  • In response to requests from government agencies, such as law enforcement authorities;
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity;
  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business (we will seek to provide commercially reasonable notice of any such change); and
  • With your consent or at your direction.
Section 4

Cookies & advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising.

Analytics. We use Squarespace's built-in analytics and Google Analytics (GA4), which we load and manage through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as your IP address and the pages you visit. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising. We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the advertising cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to the Site and other websites. You can control the ads Google shows you and opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. For more information about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's policy.

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative. Opting out does not mean you will stop seeing ads — only that the ads you see may be less relevant to you.

Section 5

Your privacy choices

Email. To unsubscribe from our newsletter, click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email, or email info@hopb.co with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not function properly.

Targeted advertising. See "Cookies & advertising" above for links to opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance, and the Network Advertising Initiative.

State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any rights you may have, contact us at info@hopb.co, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Section 6

Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected — for example, to operate the Site and provide services to you. In some instances, we may retain data for longer periods to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, and otherwise as necessary to conduct our business. All personal data we retain is subject to this Privacy Policy.

Section 7

How we protect your information

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal data you provide against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. However, despite our efforts, it is impossible to guarantee the security of information transmitted online, and you assume some risk concerning the security of information you provide through any website, including this Site.

Section 8

Children's privacy

The Site is not designed or intended for use by children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe that a minor of whom you are a parent or guardian has provided information to us, please contact us at info@hopb.co, and we will make reasonable efforts to delete all information related to the minor.

Section 9

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to other websites that are controlled by third parties. Linked websites may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review. We are not responsible for the content, usage terms, privacy policies, or any other aspects of websites that we do not own or control.

Section 10

Notice to Nevada residents

Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of certain "covered information" collected by operators of websites or online services under Nevada law. We currently do not sell covered information, as "sale" is defined by such law, and we don't have plans to sell this information. If you are a Nevada resident and would like to submit a request regarding your covered information, please contact us at info@hopb.co.

Section 11

Changes and updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Updated" date at the top of this policy.

For more information about our privacy practices, if you have questions, or if you would like to make a complaint, please contact us by email at info@hopb.co.
