Pennsylvania Uniform Planned Community Act

The Uniform Planned Community Act (UPCA), 68 Pa. Cons. Stat. §§ 5101, et seq., governs the creation, alteration, termination, and management of planned communities in Pennsylvania.
The UPCA generally applies to planned communities with more than 12 units created after the Act's effective date (February 3, 1997), unless the community falls under one of the exceptions in § 5102 (applicability). Certain sections also apply retroactively to communities created before the effective date, but only as to events occurring afterward.
